Our mussels are carefully cultivated using the age old technique of ground growing.
The farmers seed special areas of seabed that provide the mussels with rich nutrients in order to grow a large meat and strong shell. These are then collected and cleaned ready to be dispatched to the end consumer.
The technique of ground growing is centuries old and is a tradition that is slowly fading.

Store our mussels in the salad drawer of your refridgerator and cover with a damp teatowel.
Do not immerse shellfish in water.
Live mussels have a limited shelf life – consume as soon as possible from the date of delivery.
Do not keep for longer than 3 days.
Do not consume any mussels that do not tightly close when given a gentle tap.
